All the fabrics used for the production of La Fonte pads are OEKO-TEX certified, assuring the total absence of harmful chemicals to skin and health.

The fabric fibres are the result of research and innovation focused on the evolution of the most distinctive technology, ensuring great advantages of perspiration, thermal regulation, lightness and bacteriostatic protection.

Composition: 74% RECYCLED PES – 13% BAMBOO CHARCOAL – 13% EL

The Eco Soft-Tech Bamboo fabric represents a unique, complete and certified system of recycled polyester filament yarns coming 100% from postconsumer bottles sourced and processed through a mechanical process, not chemical, and spun into yarn. This production process that allows to give new life to plastic bottles for the production of eco-friendly fabrics is La Fonte’s reaction to the market expectations for a deeper social responsibility with use of recycled raw materials matched to a careful reduction at source of wastes and pollution emission and guarantees the consumer’s safety and environmental respect, granting a future for the coming generations without jeopardizing the excellent quality of the cycling pads.  Excellent breathability and superb moisture transport ability featuring quick-drying proprieties. The charcoal yarn is a yarn of bamboo. Naturally grown bamboo is subject to high temperature treatment and then ground to give Bamboo charcoal powder which is then introduced in a uniform manner during the spinning process. The features of bamboo:   * Deodorizing functions: the fine porous structure helps to absorb, breakdown and remove odors. * Natural antibacterial: micro-emissions of anions for bacterial suppression. * Hygroscopic effects to absorb water molecules from surroundings to offer a clean and dry sensation. * Renewable raw material to meet environmental friendliness requirements.

CARBON BIO-HITECH

Composition: 73% PES – 24% EL – 3% C

The material is BlueSign® approved granting the consumer’s safety and environmental respect.
The 4-ways stretch fabric has a high extensibility ensuring maximum comfort and performance. The antistatic effect of the Carbonium thread yarns, due to the special conductive fibres which absorb and dissipate electric charges produced and accumulated by the external environment and during physical activity, grants a permanent and natural bacteriostatic effect.
The brushed soft-touch fabric, comfortable like a second skin, grants an excellent breathability and a superb moisture transport ability, aids heat dispertion reducing friction and overheating areas. Easy care and quick-drying.

Composition: 80% PES – 20% EL
 
Brushed soft-touch fabric which adapts to the shorts material granting maximum comfort and performance due to the high 4-ways stretch elasticity. Excellent breathability and superb moisture transport ability featuring quick-drying proprieties.
Drytex is a BlueSign® approved fabric endorsed by the high certification standards, this is an additional guarantee for the consumer’s safety and environmental respect.

SOFT-TECH

Composition: 86% PES – 14% EL
 
Soft-tech is an innovative polyester microfiber ensuring maximum comfort to the athlete due to its pleasant soft-touch. The high 4-ways stretch elasticity grants maximum performance adapting to the shorts material. Excellent breathability and superb moisture transport ability featuring quick-drying proprieties.
The hydrophilic process is a natural protection from unpleasant odors, inhibiting the proliferation of germs and bacteria.

BIOMAX

Composition: 92% PES – 8% EL

BlueSign® approved fabric. The high-tech BioMax fibres enable moisture expulsion from the body, granting an excellent transpirability, heat regulation and quick-drying quality. Thanks to their hygienic, skin-friendly qualities and freedom of movement, they ensure outstanding wearer comfort. Suitable for printing.

Composition: 74% PA – 19% EL – 5% PES – 2% C
 
The antistatic effect of the Carbonium thread yarns, due to the special conductive fibres which absorb and dissipate electric charges produced and accumulated by the external environment and during physical activity, grant a permanent and natural bacteriostatic effect.
The 4-ways stretch microfiber Carbon fabric features excellent breathability and quick-drying quality enhancing a constant body temperature and an accelerated moisture evaporation.

Composition: 82% PA – 18% EL
 
The 4-ways stretch microfiber has a high extensibility both in length and width. The soft-touch bi-elastic fabric is made with micro polyamide, soft-hearted, comfortable like a second skin and UV protective. It grants maximum perspiration reducing overheating areas. Easy care and quick-drying.
